We compared 316 plans from 40 providers, read directly from each provider's official pricing page. Data as of 2026-10-13. Rank is decided by the value index alone. No one can buy a position.
Method
Prices are read directly from each provider's official pricing page or official API on every run. We never use figures from blogs or search snippets.
The basis is the month-to-month price with no commitment or prepayment. First-month promotions and long-term discounts are not used.
Value index = resource score ÷ pre-tax monthly price (USD). The resource score weights vCPU 45%, RAM 45% and storage 10%, each divided by the median across all plans. The overall median is 100.
If a provider does not state core count or storage, that part scores zero and the plan is marked "Partial score". Storage billed separately scores zero.
Exchange rates are the published rates on the reference date. "Incl. 10% VAT" adds the VAT a Korean resident pays on foreign services.
Setup fees, traffic overage and extra charges are not part of the score; they are shown in their own columns and labels.
Latency is the time our server in South Korea takes to open a connection to each provider's region nearest Korea (Seoul if available), measured daily. Only test or regional endpoints listed in the provider's official documentation are used, and the median of 7 attempts is shown. It is not part of the value index. Providers without an official endpoint show —.
